Job Description

As a Digital Marketing Intern specializing in GEO and Email Marketing, you will gain hands-on experience in developing and implementing effective online marketing strategies. You will work closely with our marketing team to enhance our online presence, drive traffic to our website, and engage our audience through targeted email campaigns.

Responsibilities

Answer Engine Optimization (AEO)

• Conduct intent-based keyword and question research to identify topics optimized for AI-driven search (Google SGE, ChatGPT, Perplexity, etc.).

• Optimize content structure, schema markup, and metadata to enhance visibility in answer engines and AI summaries.

• Assist in developing and implementing strategies for featured snippets, rich answers, and conversational responses.

• Monitor and report on AEO performance metrics, using GenAI-based analytics tools.

• Stay updated with the latest GenAI, LLM, and AEO trends to align strategies with evolving search behaviors.

Email Marketing

• Assist in the creation, scheduling, and execution of email marketing campaigns.
• Segment email lists based on demographics, behavior, and engagement.
• Design and test email templates to improve open rates and click-through rates.
• Analyze email campaign performance and provide actionable insights.
• Ensure all email communications comply with current email marketing regulations and best practices.
• Curate potential email database using tools like LinkedIn sales Navigator.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of SEO principles and digital marketing concepts.
• Familiarity with email marketing platforms.
• Familiarity with generative AI tool e.g. ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini is a must .
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel).
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
